Anybody who has hiked into a stand with a rifle sliding off their shoulder knows the problem this sling was built to fix. The Tac Shield PRS Hands-Free sling uses a laser-cut laminated Cordura shoulder pad blended with closed-cell foam and a non-slip Tac-Grip surface, so it bites into your hunting coat and stays put instead of creeping down your arm every few steps. That grip holds up in wet or dry conditions and plays well with slick technical fabrics too.
The standout here is the two-mode retention system. Pull the military-grade elastic strap over your head for quick, short-term security when you need both hands for a moment, or drop into the full body strap for cross-body carry on long hikes, ATV rides, glassing, checking cameras, or dragging out an animal. When it is time to shoot, hit the quick release, rotate the rifle up into your shoulder, and you are ready.
The fast-adjust slider is the other piece that earns its keep. Cinch it down tight for a stable, wobble-free hold on a longer shot, then loosen it back out for comfortable carry. It is a simple pull, nothing fiddly, which is exactly what you want when a shot presents itself and you do not have time to fumble.
This is a Made in the USA sling that ships with USA-made stud QD swivels, so most bolt guns and hunting rifles are ready to mount right out of the package. Tac Shield builds these on the same military-grade materials their tactical gear is known for, and the whole thing carries a lifetime warranty. Finished in black, it is a clean, tough setup for precision rigs and field guns alike.
It gives you two extra retention options beyond a normal shoulder carry. Pull the elastic strap over your head for quick, short-term security, or engage the full body strap for cross-body carry during long hikes and gear hauling. When you spot game, hit the quick release and rotate the rifle up into a shooting position.
Yes. It ships with USA-made stud QD swivels included, so most bolt-action and hunting rifles that use standard sling studs are ready to mount right out of the package. That saves you buying swivels separately.
That is the whole point of the design. The pad blends laminated Cordura, closed-cell foam, and a non-slip Tac-Grip surface that grabs your hunting coat and holds in both wet and dry conditions. It also works well with slick technical clothing that tends to let a plain nylon sling slide.
Both. The fast-adjust slider lets you cinch down tight for a stable, supported hold on longer shots, which is where the PRS name comes from. The hands-free retention makes it just as handy for field carry, stand access, and moving through rough terrain.
