The MAR156OSK takes the guesswork out of upgrading your AR-15's back end. Instead of sourcing a buffer tube, buffer, spring and stock separately and hoping they all fit together correctly, TacFire bundles the whole assembly so it shows up matched and ready to install on a standard mil-spec lower.
At the heart of this kit is a mil-spec 6-position buffer tube built to work with standard AR-15 lower receivers, along with the carbine-length buffer spring and a 3 oz carbine buffer that TacFire uses across its stock kit lineup. A castle nut and end plate round out the receiver extension hardware, so you have everything needed to lock the tube onto the lower and get the buffer system cycling correctly. There's no hunting down a compatible spring or buffer separately since it's already sized for a carbine-length setup.
The Operator stock itself is built from reinforced polymer and slides through all 6 adjustable positions, so you can dial in a length of pull that actually fits your build, your gear, or whoever else might be shouldering the rifle. Like the rest of TacFire's 6-position stock lineup, it's designed with a QD sling socket built into the body for quick sling attachment, plus a cheek weld profile that keeps your eye lined up with an optic or iron sights without straining your neck. The stock body has enough texture to grip well even with gloves on, and the shoulder end is shaped to sit solidly without digging in during long range sessions.
This kit makes sense whether you're replacing a stock that's cracked or worn out, converting a fixed A2 setup to something adjustable, or finishing out a build from a stripped lower. Installation is standard AR-15 fare with a castle nut wrench and a little patience, and since every component in the box is already matched to work together, there's no mixing tube diameters or buffer weights to sort out on your own.
