Description

The SureFire PROCOMP-762 is a purpose-built muzzle brake for AR10/LR308-type rifles with 5/8-24 muzzle threads. Precision-machined from U.S. mill-certified steel bar stock and finished in black nitride (Melonite), the device uses SureFire’s Impulse Diffusion geometry and neutral porting to manage recoil impulse and control muzzle rise while limiting side blast and rear-directed concussion. The ProComp-762 includes blind pilot holes for shooter tuning and a 6 o’clock hole for indexing or pin-and-weld installation on short-barreled rifles. Note: this model is a stand-alone muzzle device and cannot be used to mount SureFire SOCOM suppressors.
