The Streamlight 69135 is the straight-cord remote pressure switch built for long guns. Instead of reaching up to hit the paddle on your TLR-1 or TLR-2, you mount a low-profile pad right where your support hand already sits on the forend and light up the target with a squeeze. It runs an 8-inch straight cord, which is the setup most folks want on an AR, PCC, or SBR where the light and switch live close together on the rail.
The pad gives you a clear click when fully pressed, so you know exactly when the light fires. You get momentary on when you hold it and steady lock-on when you want the beam to stay put, so it keeps the same two functions you already know from the original paddle switch. The plug uses a rotating quick-disconnect with an O-ring seal, and there's a tethered rubber weather cap that covers the port when the remote isn't plugged in, so moisture and grit stay out.
Here's the part people miss, so read it before you order. This switch does not plug into a stock TLR light on its own. You need a Streamlight remote door/switch assembly, either the 69130 or the 69161 with the safe-off toggle, since the standard battery door doesn't have the connector port. Once that door is on your light, the 69135 plugs right in and you're set.
Everything you need to attach it comes in the package. It clips to a Picatinny forend using the included retaining clips, and there's double-stick tape and a zip tie in there too for a secure, tuned-in fit. Guys running these on rifles and PCCs tend to keep them in service for years, and it plays nice across the TLR-1, TLR-1 HP, TLR-2, and Gamespotter family. If you shoot a long gun and want faster light control without changing your grip, this is the clean way to get it.
Not by itself. The standard battery door on a TLR-1 or TLR-2 doesn't have the port this switch plugs into. You'll need a Streamlight 69130 or 69161 remote door/switch assembly on the light first, then the 69135 connects right up.
The 69135 uses an 8-inch straight cord that's built for long guns like rifles, PCCs, and SBRs where the switch mounts close to the light on the rail. The coiled version is meant for pump-action shotguns, since the coil stretches as the action cycles. If you're not running a pump gun, the straight cord is the one you want.
It's compatible with the TLR-1, TLR-1 HP, TLR-2, and TLR-1 Gamespotter, provided you have the required remote door switch installed. It keeps the same momentary and lock-on functions as the light's original paddle switch.
It attaches to a Picatinny forend using the included retaining clips, and the package also comes with double-stick tape and a zip tie to lock it down where you want it. Most people position it right under their support-hand thumb so the light fires without shifting their grip. No tools beyond what's in the box are needed for a basic install.
