Strike Industries took a hard look at their popular MOD1 and built the MOD2 to be more comfortable, more solid, and easier to live with. It drops right onto any mil-spec AR-style buffer tube and immediately changes how your rifle feels against your shoulder. The wider cheek rest gives you a more consistent cheek weld, and the overmolded rubber buttpad lets you really dig into your shoulder for a stable, planted feel behind the trigger. If you spend real time at the range, that extra padding earns its keep fast.
The standout here is the oversized adjustment lever. It is big, it is heavily textured, and it gives you a firm grip even with gloves or sweaty hands, so length-of-pull changes happen fast and without slipping. That same lever is what you use to slide the stock on or pull it off the buffer tube, so installation is completely tool-free. No pinched fingers, no fighting with the mechanism, just pull the lever and go.

No tools required. You use the large textured lever to slide the stock onto the buffer tube, and the same lever handles length-of-pull adjustments and removal. Just pull the front of the lever down, position the stock, and release to lock it in place.
The stock has overmolded QD sockets molded into both sides, but the quick-detach sling swivels themselves are sold separately. That ambidextrous setup means both left and right-handed users can mount a sling wherever it works best for them. Grab a set of QD loops if you do not already have them.
