The Strike Industries SMC Bravo takes the wild modularity of the SMC Alpha and boils it down into something lighter and a whole lot more approachable. It drops your existing SIG Sauer P320 fire-control unit and slide into a fresh polymer shell, giving your pistol a completely different feel and a real PDW vibe. Strike went with their Polymer Extreme material here, which keeps things durable while shaving weight. The chassis is built to receive your P320 FCU and slide, and it fully supports optics-ready slides so mounting a red dot is a straightforward affair. It is also more welcoming when it comes to magazines, playing nice with a wider range of P320 mags than you might expect. Down low, the grip picked up a heavier texture and a built-in flared magwell that genuinely helps reloads drop in clean and fast.
Run the numbers and the little touches add up. There is an integrated gas pedal sitting above the Picatinny rail to help you fight muzzle flip and get back on target quicker. The rail itself opens the door to accessories like a folding stock or brace, and the rear carries ambidextrous QD sockets that work great for a sling, a lanyard, or even a length of paracord if you want to hang it somewhere handy.
The Bravo carries over the SMC Rear Module Backstrap molded right into the chassis as one solid piece. It also stays compatible with Strike's optional ambidextrous side charging handle and slide cover mount, so lefties and righties alike can decide which side they want to rack from. The Bravo was designed to be more universally accepting of various P320 magazine types than some earlier chassis options. The integrated flared magwell also helps guide mags in for quicker, cleaner reloads. It is a good pick if you run a mix of P320 mags.
