The Strike Industries MCCIRCLE is about as compact as a pistol comp gets. At just 0.64 inches long, it threads onto any 1/2"x28 barrel and gets to work redirecting gas to flatten out your muzzle. Strike's in-house testing puts felt recoil reduction in the 8 to 15 percent range depending on your setup, which is a noticeable difference when you're running follow-up shots on a compact or micro carry gun.
It's machined from AISI 1144 steel, bead blasted, and run through Strike's Quench Polish Quench (QPQ) finishing process. That combination gives it a tough, corrosion-resistant surface that holds up to the heat and blast a muzzle device takes round after round. Even with all that steel, it weighs in at roughly a third of an ounce, so it barely registers on the end of your slide.
The CIRCLE design is intentionally simple and sleek. It was built around smaller compact, sub-compact, and micro pistols, but it works just fine on full-size guns too. Because it keeps a tight, round profile, it slides back into most open-end holsters you already own instead of forcing you to rebuy gear. On a full-size pistol, plenty of folks run it as a slick thread protector that adds a little muzzle control on the side.
This comp uses an O-ring for timing and retention, and Strike includes spares in the box so you have a backup on hand. If your threaded barrel has a shoulder, the O-ring handles timing nicely. For barrels with no shoulder, you'll want a quality thread locker to keep everything indexed and secure. One thing worth planning for: because the comp bleeds off some slide energy, you may need to tune your recoil spring or ammo to keep the gun cycling reliably. It's a common step with any pistol comp and easy to sort out with a little range time.
