The Strike Industries Enhanced Low Profile Gas Block is one of those small parts that punches above its size when you're piecing together an AR-15. Machined from high-strength 4140 steel and finished in black nitride, it sits low and tight against the barrel so it slides under nearly any free-float handguard without a fight. The skeletonized, faceted body trims the fat where it can while keeping steel where the block sees the most heat and stress, so you get a lighter part that still holds up round after round.
This one is sized for a .750" gas journal, which covers a huge chunk of standard AR-15 barrels along with plenty of AR-10 and LR-308 setups running the same diameter. Builders leaning on 12 to 15 inch free-float rails tend to reach for a low-pro block like this specifically because the taller stuff won't clear the tube. If you're swapping to a longer handguard and your old block is bumping the inside of the rail, this is the fix.
