Description

The Strike Industries Overmolded Enhanced Pistol Grip takes their popular Enhanced grip and wraps it in a rubberized overmold, so you get a tackier, more forgiving surface than bare polymer. The 15-degree angle sits close to vertical, which is what a lot of folks running a modern squared-off stance are after. It pulls the rifle and your firing arm in tight, and that pays off on shorter carbines and PDW-style builds where you want everything compact.

What the 15-Degree Overmolded Grip Does Well

The near-upright angle is the whole point here. If you shoot bladed and old-school, a steeper A2-style grip feels more natural, but for aggressive, hands-forward shooting the 15-degree lean keeps your wrist neutral and comfortable over a long range day. The body is streamlined and tapered where the web of your hand rides, so nothing gets in the way when you're reaching for the safety or mag release. There's a beavertail up top and a subtle palm swell that gives medium hands a solid, filled-out hold.

Texture and Build on the Strike Industries Overmolded Grip

A high-strength polymer core carries the load while the rubber overmold handles the contact. Stippling on the sides and ridges front and back give you traction when your hands are wet, gloved, or sweaty. Worth noting: hand size matters with this one. It runs on the slimmer side, so if you've got large mitts it may feel more compact than a bulkier grip. The rubber also shrugs off oils and solvents, so cleaning day won't chew it up.

Storage and Fitment

Underneath is a sealed cavity with an included rubber end cap, handy for stashing a spare firing pin, small batteries, or an oil bottle. It fits standard AR-15 and AR-10 lowers, plus anything that takes an AR grip with a beavertail. Install is quick and everything you need comes in the box, so it works for a fresh build or a straight swap of your factory grip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the 15-degree angle on this Strike Industries grip feel like compared to a standard A2 grip?

The 15-degree angle sits much closer to vertical than a traditional 25-degree A2 grip. It keeps your wrist in a more neutral position and pulls the rifle in tight, which suits a modern hands-forward stance and shorter carbine builds. If you shoot bladed and prefer that classic rifleman feel, a steeper angle like the 25-degree version may be more your speed.

Does the overmolded pistol grip fit both AR-15 and AR-10 lowers?

Yes. It's built for standard AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers and will fit just about any lower or grip adapter that accepts an AR grip with a beavertail. Installation is straightforward and all the hardware you need is in the box.

Can I store anything inside this grip?

There's a sealed internal cavity under the grip with an included rubber end cap. It's a good spot for a spare firing pin, small batteries, or a little oil bottle so you always have essentials on the gun. The rubber cap keeps everything secure and quiet.

Is the Strike Industries overmolded grip good for larger hands?

It runs on the slimmer, more compact side, which a lot of people with medium or smaller hands really like. If you have larger hands, it may feel thinner than a bulkier grip, so it comes down to personal preference. The palm swell and beavertail do help fill out the hold.
