This is the go-to parts kit for anyone building out a stripped AR-15 lower who wants better than plain mil-spec without going broke sourcing pieces one at a time. Strike Industries put their enhanced components where they make the biggest difference, then rounded out the rest of the kit with all the standard springs, pins, and detents you need to finish the job. It leaves out the trigger, hammer, and disconnector on purpose, so you can run whatever fire control group you already love, be that a nice drop-in or a tuned mil-spec setup.
The headliner is the SI HEX 60/90 degree 3-in-1 ambidextrous safety selector. It lets you pick between a 60 degree short throw or a traditional 90 degree throw, and you can set it up strong-side only or fully ambi depending on how you run your gun. Two selector levers, an end plate, and the mounting hardware all come in the box. You also get the enhanced bolt catch with improved grip surfaces and angles, an enhanced magazine catch, and an oversized mag catch button that's easier to hit under pressure. The extended pivot and takedown pins round out the upgraded pieces.
Alongside the enhanced parts, the kit packs the full run of springs (bolt catch, buffer retainer, disconnector, hammer, magazine catch, pivot detent, selector, takedown detent, and trigger), plus the bolt catch plunger and roll pin, hammer pin, detents, trigger pin, and buffer retainer. Builders consistently report clean fitment on stripped lowers with no filing or fuss, though as with any AR build, a front pivot pin can occasionally run a touch tight depending on the receiver. The parts carry a black finish and Strike's signature stamped look, so your lower ends up looking as good as it functions.

As with any AR build, a front pivot pin can occasionally run a little snug depending on the specific receiver, but that's true of most parts kits.
