The AR-10 Shift Pins swap out your factory pivot and takedown pins for a quick-detach setup that comes apart with a simple twist. The extended, textured heads give you plenty to grab onto, so you can pop your rifle open without hunting down a pin punch. The gold coating is the icing on top if you like your build to stand out a bit.
The clever part is the rotation feature. Instead of pushing the pin straight through and fighting a spring-loaded detent, you rotate the pin to release it and rotate it back to lock it securely in place. The included enhanced detents stay retained inside the pin springs, which means no more chasing runaway parts across the garage floor. It is a near tool-less job, and once you have used them, going back to standard pins feels like a chore.
Each pin is CNC machined from solid steel for strength, a precise fit, and corrosion resistance. This set replaces most AR-10 and LR-308 takedown and pivot pins and fits most forged and billet receivers. Since the AR-10 world has no true mil-spec standard, fitment can vary from one maker to the next, and some setups may show slight movement while still working as intended. These are not compatible with the Armalite AR-10, and they are not meant to pair with PDW-style stocks or stabilizers where the extended pins can bind on the slide rods.
