The Strike Industries Angled Vertical Grip Long takes the guesswork out of two things every serious build runs into: hand position and messy wiring. It sits on your handguard at an 86-degree angle, which is the sweet spot for a natural wrist position without going full vertical or full angled. That cant adds forearm rigidity and gives you real control whether you're driving the gun through transitions or holding steady on a longer press.
The headline feature here is the patent-pending cable management system. Instead of zip ties, tape, or tucking a tail switch wire wherever it'll fit, you route the excess cable from your weapon light straight into the grip cavity. You can run it in a few different configurations depending on your setup, and the side cuts up top make mounting a pressure switch clean and easy. The result is a front end that looks and runs tidy, with nothing loose to snag on gear or a sling.
The Long version earns its name with an L-shaped bottom. Set that base against a table edge, a corner, or a barricade, and you've got a built-in stability point that helps you settle and get back on target quicker. It's the main reason folks reach for this size over the short model, especially if they shoot off cover or a bench.
Strike molded this from durable, lightweight polymer, so it adds control without bogging down the front of your rifle. The palm and finger areas are textured with flat sides for positive handling, and the grip is designed for M-LOK handguards. The texturing has a moderately aggressive bite that grabs your hand without chewing up bare skin, and the low-profile shape keeps everything streamlined. Fair warning worth knowing going in: the M-LOK nuts like to rotate a bit while you tighten them down, so take your time seating them straight and you'll be good to go.
This model is built for M-LOK compatible handguards and mounts using the included M-LOK nuts, screws, and Torx key. If you're running a Picatinny rail instead, Strike makes a separate Picatinny version of this grip. Take your time seating the nuts straight during install since they can rotate slightly while tightening.
Excess wire from a weapon light or tape switch routes directly into the hollow grip cavity, so there's no tucking cable under a rail or wrapping it in zip ties and tape. You can run the wiring in a few different configurations to fit your setup, and the side cuts near the top make pressure switch mounting cleaner. It keeps the front of the rifle tidy and snag-free.
