The TLR-3X USB is Streamlight's answer for folks who carry a Sig P365 or P365 XL and want a serious light without adding bulk. At 2.75 inches long and just over an inch wide, it stays out of the way while throwing 500 lumens and 6,500 candela down a tight, far-reaching beam. That candela number matters more than raw lumens for real-world use, and 6,500 gives you a bright center hotspot with enough spill to keep your surroundings in view. The beam carries out to 161 meters, which is plenty of reach for a light this small.
The big draw here is the multi-fuel setup. This USB version ships with Streamlight's SL-B9 rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, which charges right through an integrated USB-C port in about 2.5 hours and is rated for up to 500 charge cycles. If you'd rather run a disposable cell, the same light accepts a single CR123A with no adapters or fuss. The rechargeable pack gives you around an hour of continuous runtime, while a CR123A stretches that to about an hour and a half.
Streamlight didn't cut corners on construction. The housing is heat-resistant engineered polymer paired with a scratch-resistant BOROFLOAT glass lens, and the whole unit carries an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can handle a meter of water for half an hour. It's live-fire tested and impact-resistant, so recoil and range abuse aren't a concern.
This is the dedicated P365 model, built for the Sig Sauer P365 and P365 XL closed-rail systems. Keep in mind it does not fit the P365 XMACRO. Mounting is a one-handed snap-on and tighten job that keeps your hands well behind the muzzle, and the battery loads through the face cap so you never have to pull the light off your pistol to swap power. Ambidextrous rear paddle switches handle momentary and constant-on, plus a user-activated strobe, and the light ships with multiple paddle widths and heights to dial in the feel.
This is the dedicated P365 version, so it's built for the Sig Sauer P365 and P365 XL with closed rail systems. It does not fit the P365 XMACRO. If you're running a standard P365 or P365 XL, it clamps right on and sits nice and flush.
The included SL-B9 battery pack recharges directly through a built-in USB-C port in about 2.5 hours, and you don't need to remove the light from your pistol to swap the battery since it loads through the face cap. If you're ever out of a charge, the light also runs on a single CR123A lithium cell, so you've got a backup power option anytime.
On the rechargeable SL-B9 pack you'll get about an hour of continuous runtime at full output. Swap in a CR123A and that stretches to roughly an hour and a half. For a defensive light that runs in short bursts, that's a lot of real-world use between charges.
