The Echelon 4.0C is what happens when Springfield Armory takes everything that made the full-size Echelon 4.5F a standout duty pistol and trims it down to a frame that actually disappears under a cover garment. At 7.25 inches overall with a 4-inch barrel, it lands right in the sweet spot for carry: short enough to conceal comfortably, long enough to shoot well. The slide is billet-machined and finished in Melonite for corrosion and wear resistance, and the cold hammer-forged barrel uses the same process Springfield spec'd for its duty guns, producing a tighter bore surface for better long-term accuracy.
