The Springfield Armory Echelon is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm pistol engineered around a removable Central Operating Group (COG) stainless chassis and an optic-ready slide. Designed for modularity, the VIS optic mounting system allows direct-mount optics without adapter plates while the chassis enables quick interchange of grip modules. The pistol pairs an OD Green Cerakote polymer frame with an optics-friendly slide and a 4.5″ hammer-forged steel barrel. Ergonomic serrations and a tritium front sight support controllable, low-light handling.
