What Sets the Sizemaster 20 Gauge Apart

This one comes set up and ready to run. The E-Z Prime auto primer feed is standard equipment, so primers drop into place automatically as you cycle the handle instead of making you fuss with them one at a time. Up top you've got a flip-top powder measure for easy charge changes, a cam-action crimp die, and the Spindex crimp starter that swivels to line itself up with the original folds in the hull. The result is a clean, factory-looking crimp round after round. It's built on a sturdy frame with compound leverage and a long stroke, which means it handles both low and high brass without you having to muscle it.

Dialing In Your Loads on the MEC Sizemaster

Straight from the box the press is factory set for 2-3/4 inch shells and adjusts to handle 3 inch as well, so you can cover field loads and heavier hunting loads on the same machine. It ships with a 7/8 ounce charge bar and three powder bushings to get you started, and MEC sells additional bushings and charge bars if you want to fine-tune your powder and shot drops. Expect to turn out somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 to 200 shells an hour once you find your rhythm. If you ever want to load a different gauge down the road, MEC offers die sets to convert it over.
