The Alpha MAAD Brake 2.0 is SilencerCo's answer to a question a lot of suppressor owners end up asking: why should a muzzle device only do one job? This little unit tames recoil and muzzle climb like a proper brake, but it also serves as the central hub for SilencerCo's Alpha accessory ecosystem. That means front caps in different apertures, flash hiders, and the three-port anchor brake all thread right onto it, so you can build the muzzle setup that fits how you shoot instead of settling for one fixed configuration.
At 2 inches overall with a 1.45 inch outside diameter, the Alpha MAAD Brake 2.0 keeps your rifle's profile short and handy. Machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish, it weighs in around 1.35 ounces, light enough that you will forget it is there until you touch off a round and notice how flat the gun stays. Less muzzle rise means faster follow-up shots and a more comfortable day at the range, whether you are running drills or working up loads from the bench.
SilencerCo built this thing to play nice with their whole mounting catalog. You can attach it using the ASR mount, direct thread mounts, pistons, 3-lug adapters, or the TOM mount, which covers just about any rifle host you would want to hang it on. One note worth knowing: this mount is not intended for pistols with tilting or unlocking barrels, so keep it on fixed-barrel hosts.
The MAAD Brake 2.0 comes in Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie sizes, and this Alpha version pairs with Alpha-pattern accessories, the same family used by the Spectre 9 and Omega K Series suppressors.
