Running a Salvo 12 on a Beretta means you need the right interface between the can and the barrel, and that is exactly what the Echo choke adapter handles. This version is cut for the Beretta Optima HP choke system in a Full constriction, so it threads into your barrel just like a factory choke tube while adding an external thread and locking ring that the Salvo 12 clamps onto. You get suppression and a tight, dense pattern at the same time, no compromises on either end.

If you shoot multiple constrictions, SilencerCo makes the Echo adapter in Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified for the Optima HP as well, so you can swap spreads the same way you would swap regular choke tubes. For a dedicated Full choke suppressed setup on a Beretta, though, this is the one to grab.

No, and this is important. SilencerCo warns against running steel shot through Full or Improved Modified Echo chokes, and for Optima HP barrels they specify the Improved Cylinder version if you plan on shooting steel. Stick with lead loads through this Full constriction to protect both the choke and your barrel.
It replaces your factory choke tube by threading directly into your barrel's existing choke threads. The adapter has external threads and a locking ring on the outside that the Salvo 12 suppressor mounts to. That means you keep a functioning choke constriction while the suppressor is attached.
It is purpose built for the SilencerCo Salvo 12 shotgun suppressor and is not designed as a universal mount. If you run a different shotgun suppressor, check with that manufacturer for their mounting system. Also worth noting, the Salvo 12 and Echo adapters are not compatible with flight controlled wads, so plan your ammo accordingly.
