The Salvo 12 mounts differently than a rifle can. There's no muzzle thread or clamp involved. Instead, it hangs off your shotgun's choke threads, and that means you need the correct Echo choke adapter for your specific barrel. This one, the AC1326, is built for Beretta and Benelli Mobil pattern chokes, which covers a huge range of guns from the Beretta A300 and 390 family to Benelli models running the Mobil system. If you're not sure which choke pattern your barrel uses, check your factory chokes or your owner's manual before ordering, because Mobil and Crio threads are not interchangeable.
Installation is about as simple as it gets. Pull your factory choke, thread the Echo adapter in its place, and you're left with an external locking ring that the Salvo 12 attaches to. The connection is solid and repeatable, so you can pull the can off for a normal day of shooting and put it back on without chasing your zero point of impact all over the pattern board. The adapter itself is steel with a black finish, and it only adds a couple tenths of a pound to the end of your barrel.
This version carries a Full constriction, so you keep the tight, dense patterns you'd want for turkey hunting, longer passing shots on waterfowl-style ranges with appropriate loads, or trap work. That's one of the smarter parts of the Echo system: you're not giving up choke performance to run suppressed. Two things worth knowing before you load up, though. Steel shot should not be run through a Full constriction, so stick with lead or other soft shot in this one. And the Salvo system doesn't play well with flight-controlled wads, so choose your shells accordingly.

The adapter carries a true Full constriction, so your patterns should behave like a standard extended Full choke. That's the whole point of the Echo system: you keep your preferred spread while gaining a suppressor mount. One caveat is that the Salvo system isn't compatible with flight-controlled wads, so pick shells with standard wads for best results.
