The Forward Controls Design OPF-G, DPP is a billet 4140 steel mounting plate that lets you run a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro on a Glock MOS slide. It's a collaboration between Forward Controls Design and TangoDown, built on the same proven approach as the OPF-G, RMR plate that earned FCD its reputation. Everything is heat treated and finished in black nitride, so you get a tough, corrosion-resistant part that looks right at home on a duty gun or a range blaster.
The whole point of this plate is keeping the optic dead still. The DeltaPoint Pro rides on four recoil lugs and beefier screws than an RMR, but loose and sheared sight-to-plate screws are still the usual failure point on cheaper mounts. FCD tackles that with a front and rear fence that cradle the optic, plus tight plate-to-slide and sight-to-plate tolerances that keep movement along the bore to a minimum. The result is a setup that stays zeroed round after round.
This plate is made for Glock MOS pistols running Set 01 plates, which covers the G17, G19, G20, G21, G22, G23, G26, G34, G40, G45, G47, and G49. The G40 in 10mm uses the wider Set 02 cut, and while the plate still works, it won't completely fill the width of that MOS slot. Because the DeltaPoint Pro footprint is shared across several optics, this plate also accepts the EOTech EFLX and Vortex Defender ST, XT, and XL.
Torque matters on these. FCD calls for 13 in/lb on the plate-to-slide screws and 25 in/lb on the sight-to-plate screws, and a little thread locker on the included hardware goes a long way. One thing worth knowing: the DeltaPoint Pro sits fairly tall, so if you want a lower 1/3 co-witness you'll need equally tall suppressor-height backup sights. Made in the USA.

Keep in mind the Vortex Defender and EFLX use different screw lengths than the DeltaPoint Pro, so always confirm your screws seat correctly before final install.
That's exactly what it's designed to do. The OPF-G, DPP uses a front and rear fence along with tight plate-to-slide and sight-to-plate tolerances to hold the optic immobile, which is the simplest way to stop sight-to-plate screws from loosening or shearing. Stick to the specified torque values and use the included thread locker for the best results.
You can, but the DeltaPoint Pro sits fairly tall, so a lower 1/3 co-witness requires suppressor-height backup sights. Standard-height irons won't line up through the window. Plan your sight setup around that taller deck height if co-witnessing is important to you.
