If you're running an FN FNS or FNX and want a red dot without sending your slide out for milling, this EGW sight mount is the easy way in. It replaces your factory rear sight and gives you a stable platform for a DeltaPoint Pro and a bunch of other popular reflex sights. No gunsmith, no permanent changes to the slide, and you can always pull it off and put your iron sight back when you want.
Installation is about as simple as it gets. You drift out the existing rear sight, slide the EGW mount into the dovetail from left to right with the muzzle facing forward, and snug it down. The dovetail is machined with a progressive taper so it draws in tight as you seat it. EGW recommends a dab of blue Loctite on the two included mounting screws and torquing them to 15 in-lbs so your optic stays put through recoil. A handy trick is to set a small slip of paper between the red dot and the plate during install to keep Loctite off your optic and make removal easier down the road.
The footprint is a lot more versatile than the name lets on. Beyond the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, it accepts the JPoint, Redfield Accelerator, Optima, Shield RMS/RMSc/SMS, Sig Romeo Zero, Bushnell RXS and RXU series, Crimson Trace CTS-1500, Vortex Defender series, and Vortex Venom. Holosun 407K and 507K optics will fit with a minor modification, filing off the two rear locator pins on the plate.
The mount is cut from 7075 aluminum and finished in a matte black hardcoat, so it holds up to the knocks of everyday carry and range time. It's made in the USA and keeps a low, compact profile on the slide. Worth noting for fitment: this mount works with the standard FNS and FNX pistols, but it will not fit the FN FNP, the FN 5.7, or any pistol that already comes optics ready from the factory.

It will not. This mount is designed specifically for the standard FN FNS and FNX and does not fit the FN 5.7, the FN FNP, or any factory optics ready pistol. If your FN already came drilled and tapped or cut for an optic from the factory, you'll want a dedicated adapter plate instead.
