The Fuse pairs a 4.3 inch DLC-coated carbon steel barrel with a long optic-ready slide, and that extra slide length buys you a full 6 inch sight radius. In plain terms, it points more naturally and it is easier to be precise with than the micro-compacts most people carry. Meanwhile the grip module stays about an inch wide, so it tucks in close to the body and conceals far better than the round count would suggest.
Capacity is the headline here. You get two 21-round steel magazines plus a 17-round mag in the box, so 21+1 on board with a full reload ready to go. The coyote Cerakote stainless slide wears aggressive serrations front and rear, and it is cut for the SIG-LOC Compact footprint so you can mount a red dot directly with no adapter plate. Prefer irons? The bright fiber optic front sight paired with a black serrated rear is a genuinely good setup on its own, quick to pick up and uncluttered in the rear notch.
The coyote LXG polymer grip module features laser-engraved texturing that locks into the hand without chewing it up, plus a full 1913 Picatinny rail up front for a light and a removable magwell for faster reloads. Small, medium, and large backstraps come included, so you can dial the grip circumference to your hand instead of adapting your grip to the gun. The flat-faced striker trigger breaks clean and consistent, which matters when you are running fast strings or working on tight groups.
At 7.2 inches overall and roughly 23 ounces, the Fuse lands in a sweet spot: big enough to shoot well all day at the range, small enough to carry every day. The slide is cut for the SIG-LOC Compact footprint, so optics like Sig's ROMEO-X Compact mount directly to the slide with no adapter plate. That direct mount keeps the dot low and secure. No, this model (365XF9CFO) does not have an external thumb safety. Like most striker-fired carry pistols, it relies on internal safeties that prevent the gun from firing unless the trigger is deliberately pulled. Plenty of folks prefer that simplicity for a defensive gun, since there is nothing extra to sweep off under stress.
It is, and that is really the whole point of the gun. The grip module stays right around an inch wide, which is the dimension that matters most for printing, and at about 23 ounces it carries comfortably in a good holster. The longer slide rides inside the waistband where extra length is barely noticeable, so you get the shootability of a bigger gun without giving up much concealment.
