The P365 changed the whole concealed carry conversation when it dropped, and the X-Macro takes that same recipe and stretches it in all the right places. You get a genuine 17+1 rounds of 9mm in a grip module that measures right around an inch wide, which is capacity territory that used to require a full-size duty gun and a much bigger holster. This Coyote model wears a Cerakote finish over a stainless steel slide, and it looks as good as it runs.
The 3.7 inch barrel gives you a longer sight radius and a bit more velocity than the smaller P365 variants, while the overall package stays at 6.6 inches long and about 21.5 ounces with a magazine. The XSeries optic-ready slide is cut for compact footprint red dots like the Shield RMSc pattern, so mounting an optic is a direct bolt-on job. Prefer irons? The XRAY3 day/night sights are some of the best factory sights in the business, with a bright front dot that jumps out in daylight and tritium that carries you through low light.
The X-Macro grip module comes with small, medium, and large interchangeable backstraps, so you can dial the fit to your hand instead of adapting your grip to the gun. Up front there is a true M1913 rail, meaning full-size weapon lights mount without adapters or wobbly fitment. The flat trigger breaks clean at 90 degrees, and the whole thing runs on SIG's serialized fire control unit, which opens the door to the entire P365 ecosystem of grips and slides down the road.
Two 17-round steel magazines with high visibility followers come in the box, so you are set for a loaded gun plus a full reload from day one. Between the capacity, the flat-shooting barrel length, and the fit-adjustable grip, this is the kind of pistol that works just as well for a long range session as it does riding in a holster all day.
The X-Macro slide is cut for compact footprint optics using the Shield RMSc pattern. That covers popular options like the SIG RomeoZero Elite, Shield RMSc, Holosun 507K and 407K, and similar micro red dots. Most mount directly to the slide without any adapter plate.
No, this model runs a standard 3.7 inch barrel with a non-ported slide. The Comp variants use a shorter 3.1 inch barrel with an integrated compensator built into the slide. Some folks prefer this configuration since there are no comp ports to blast debris or flash upward, and the longer barrel adds a touch of velocity.
The X-Macro grip module is built specifically around the wider 17-round X-Macro magazines, so the standard 10, 12, and 15 round P365 mags will not lock in. The good news is the 17-round mags that ship with it, plus the factory 21-round extended mags, feed it just fine. It ships with two 17-rounders so you are covered out of the box.
Not at all, and that is really the whole point of this gun. It keeps the slim roughly one inch wide profile of the P365 family while stretching the grip just enough to hold 17 rounds and give you a full firing grip. At 6.6 inches long and about 21.5 ounces, it conceals more like a compact than a full-size, especially with a quality holster and belt.
