The 1911 XCarry is a commander-size .45 ACP built on a stainless steel frame with a carbon steel slide wearing a tough black DLC finish, and the slide comes cut for a direct-mount red dot using the ROMEO-X Compact footprint. No adapter plates stacking your optic sky high, just a clean, low mount. If you'd rather run irons, the XRAY3 day/night sights are some of the best factory sights in the business, with a bright green front dot by day and tritium glow when the light drops off.
Pick this pistol up and the details start showing. The G10 grip panels come from LOK Grips, a name 1911 folks already know and trust, and they lock your hand in without chewing it up. You also get a serrated front strap, an undercut trigger guard for a higher grip, an extended slide release, and ambidextrous safety levers. The flat serrated trigger breaks the way a single action 1911 trigger should, which is a big part of why people keep coming back to this platform. Front and rear slide serrations make press checks easy, and the M1913 rail up front takes a light without any fuss.
At 4.25 inches of barrel and 8 inches overall, this is the classic commander layout, a little easier to pack than a full government model while keeping enough sight radius and slide mass to shoot flat and soft for a .45.
