There's a reason so many P365 owners end up swapping their factory grip module before they've even put a thousand rounds through the gun. The polymer frame that Sig ships is thin, functional, and about as exciting as a butter knife. The Sharps Bros Gen 3 grip module changes that equation completely, replacing the stock piece with a chunk of machined billet aluminum that's built to feel like an extension of your hand instead of a placeholder.
This version of the grip module represents the third evolution of Sharps Bros' take on the P365 platform. It starts as a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum before being machined down to shape, then finished in a Mil-Spec black anodized coating with matching black anodized aluminum grip panels. Compared to earlier generations, the Gen 3 brings more aggressive texturing on the panels, a redesigned steel lug system for a tighter fit, and built-in provisions if you ever want to add a magwell funnel down the road.
Where the stock Sig module sits at about 1.1 inches wide, the Gen 3 bumps that up to 1.3 inches, giving your hand noticeably more to grab without turning the gun into something you can't carry comfortably. The trigger guard gets an undercut with finger grooves so your support hand sits higher and tighter, and ambidextrous thumb ledges on both sides give you a natural index point no matter which hand you shoot with. That added aluminum also brings the module up to roughly 4.3 ounces versus the OEM polymer's 1.4 ounces, weight you won't notice riding in a holster but will appreciate when it comes to taming felt recoil during range time.
This module is built as a direct replacement for the standard polymer P365X and P365XL grip, and it plays nice with any P365 slide, including the standard P365, P365X, P365XL, and X-Macro. Keep in mind your magazine release assembly isn't included, so you'll reuse your factory part or pick up a replacement separately. Because of the integrated thumb ledges, most off the shelf Kydex holsters will need a little heat reforming to seat properly, though holsters built specifically for this grip module are also available if you'd rather skip that step.
Yes, this grip module is built to accept any P365 slide, including the standard P365, P365X, P365XL, and X-Macro. Just keep in mind this is the X/XL sized module, so it's designed around 12-round flat base plate magazines rather than the compact 10-round setup.
No, the magazine release assembly is not included with this grip module. You'll transfer your factory release over from the OEM grip, or pick up a replacement separately if needed.

Not really. The Gen 3 module adds roughly 3 extra ounces over the factory polymer piece, which is barely noticeable while holstered day to day. Where you do notice it is on the range, since that extra weight helps settle the gun and reduce felt recoil between shots.
