The Sig P365 is a fantastic little carry gun, but the factory grip module was built for concealment first and comfort second. Sharps Bros took a different approach with this Gen 3 module, carving it from a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum instead of molding it from polymer. The result is a grip that fills the hand better, feels planted under recoil, and doesn't flex or creak the way the stock unit can after a lot of range time.
This isn't just a cosmetic swap. The Gen 3 shape brings an undercut trigger guard with finger grooves so your support hand can ride higher and tighter to the bore axis, which helps tame muzzle flip on a gun that's already known for snappy recoil. Ambidextrous thumb ledges give both left and right handed shooters a natural spot to index their thumb, and the grip widens from the factory 1.1 inches to a more substantial 1.3 inches without adding bulk that kills concealability.
The module wears a Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish on the frame with black aluminum grip panels, giving it a two tone look that stands out from the sea of black polymer P365s at the range. A heat treated 4140 steel lug insert reinforces the frame where the slide rides, adding durability that a polymer housing simply can't match over the long haul. The extra weight of the aluminum construction also works in your favor, helping settle the gun between shots.
Installation follows the same process as any P365 grip module swap, transferring your factory fire control unit into the new housing. The magazine release assembly isn't included, so you'll reuse your existing one or pick up a spare. Because of the integrated thumb ledges, most stock Kydex holsters will need a little heat reforming to seat properly, though holsters built specifically for the Sharps Bros shape are widely available if you'd rather skip that step.
This module is built for the standard Sig Sauer P365 fire control unit. You'll need to transfer your factory FCU into the new housing, which is the same process used for any P365 grip module swap.
No, the magazine release assembly is not included. You'll reuse your factory mag release when you install the module, or pick up a replacement if yours is worn.
Most factory Kydex holsters need a little heat reforming to accommodate the integrated thumb ledges on this module. A lot of owners handle this themselves with a heat gun, or you can look into holsters made specifically for the Sharps Bros shape.
The module does add some heft compared to the factory polymer grip, but most people find it barely noticeable while holstered. That extra weight actually works in your favor at the range, helping keep the gun flatter under recoil.
