There's only so much a stock polymer P365 grip can do for you, and if you've put a few hundred rounds through one you already know it can feel a little thin and snappy in the hand. The Sharps Bros Gen 3 grip module replaces that factory frame with a solid piece of machined aluminum, built specifically for the standard P365 platform. It's finished in black with matching black grip panels, giving the pistol a cleaner, more purposeful look while adding real substance to how it feels when you're running the gun.
This module starts life as a block of billet 7075-T6 aluminum before it's CNC machined down to shape and finished with a Mil-spec black anodized coating. A steel lug insert is built into the design for added durability where it matters most. Every edge is cleanly radiused, so there's nothing sharp digging into your hand or snagging on a holster, just a smooth, finished piece that feels like it belongs on a higher-end pistol.
The trigger guard on this module is undercut and shaped with finger grooves, letting you get your firing hand higher up on the grip for better recoil control, while the front strap is contoured for your support hand. Front and back straps are checkered for texture without going overboard, and both sides of the frame feature the ambidextrous Gas Pedal thumb ledges, a patented design that gives you a natural index point no matter which hand you shoot with. The whole module measures out to 1.3 inches wide compared to the factory 1.1 inches, so you get a fuller grip without adding bulk that kills concealability.
This module is built for the standard P365 and seats 10-round magazines, and it's compatible with any P365 slide, including the P365, P365X, P365XL, and P365 XMacro. Your fire control unit and magazine release assembly are not included, so you'll be transferring those over from your factory grip. Because of the integrated thumb ledges, most Kydex holsters will need a little heat reforming to seat properly, or you can look at holsters made specifically for this module. Professional installation by a qualified gunsmith is recommended to make sure everything torques down correctly and functions the way it should.
Yes, this module is compatible with any P365 slide including the standard P365, P365X, P365XL, and P365 XMacro. Just keep in mind this particular module is sized for the standard P365 grip and seats 10-round magazines, so if you're running your P365X slide on it you'll be limited to that magazine capacity.
No, this is a grip module only. You'll need to transfer your factory fire control unit and magazine release assembly over from your original grip during installation.
Plenty of P365 owners handle this swap themselves with basic tools, but Sharps Bros recommends professional installation to make sure the fire control unit and takedown hardware are seated and torqued correctly. If you're not comfortable working inside the fire control group, having a gunsmith do it is the safer route.
Because of the built-in thumb ledges on both sides, most Kydex holsters need a little heat reforming to get a proper fit around the new shape. Sharps Bros also offers holsters designed specifically for their grip modules if you'd rather skip the reforming step.
