The Gen2 version keeps everything folks loved about the original and adds a threaded bolt catch pin, a bit less weight, and tidied-up styling.
That 7075-T6 billet construction is the real backbone here. It carries a better strength-to-weight ratio than the 6061 you'll find on a lot of budget receivers, which matters on the one part of your build that ties everything together. The hardcoat anodize finish is done to MIL-A-8625, the same anodizing spec used across military and aerospace gear, so it holds up to handling, weather, and years of range trips without looking beat.
This is a stripped lower, so it gives you a blank canvas.
