The Overthrow is Sharps Bros' take on a billet AR-15 lower receiver that doesn't shy away from personality. Machined top to bottom from 7075-T6 aluminum, this receiver starts as a solid block and comes out as a finished lower with real character.
The defining feature is the open magazine well cut in the shape of a Spartan helmet. That design intentionally includes dents, gashes, and crack lines to give it a battle-worn look that's ready for any theme you want to apply. The appeal isn't just visual either. That flared magwell actually helps with reload speed and magazine seating, giving you a practical benefit wrapped in distinctive styling.
This lower is marked multi-caliber and plays nice with all standard AR-15 platform uppers. It accepts GI-spec magazines, PMAGs, and anything else that fits a standard AR magazine well. The integral trigger guard is oversized, giving you plenty of room whether you're shooting in gloves or operating in warmer weather. Inside, you'll find everything is dimensioned to work with any mil-spec lower parts kit.
The hard-coat anodized black finish is the same military-grade spec used in aerospace applications. It's going to handle use and wear, and the finish can take a beating while maintaining its integrity. If you want to customize it further, the anodize provides a solid base for additional finishing work.
