Seekins Precision took everything people liked about the Pro Hunter series and pushed it further with the PH3. The headline feature is the new three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw, which cycles noticeably faster than a traditional two-lug action and leaves extra clearance for larger scope eyepieces. The bolt comes apart without tools for cleaning, and the quick-change barrel system means you can swap barrels or calibers down the road without a trip to a gunsmith. That kind of flexibility used to mean a full custom build. Here it comes standard.
This configuration pairs the classic .308 Win with a 20-inch fluted, threaded 416R stainless barrel wearing a 1:11.25 twist. Twenty inches is a sweet spot for a .308 hunting rifle, keeping the package handy in a blind or on a mountainside while still getting solid velocity out of most factory loads. The 5/8×24 threaded muzzle is ready for a brake or suppressor, and at around 7.5 pounds bare, the rifle carries well without feeling like a flyweight when you settle in for a shot.
The barreled action sits in the Seekins Mini Chassis inside a PH3 carbon composite stock with a vertical grip and adjustable cheek riser, so you can dial in your eye position behind whatever glass you mount. Speaking of glass, the integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail with a built-in bubble level takes the guesswork out of leveling a scope, and the full-length M-LOK rail under the fore-end handles bipods, ARCA adapters, and whatever else your setup calls for. A TriggerTech trigger, user adjustable from 2.5 to 5 pounds, rounds out the package.

Yes, that is one of the biggest draws of this platform. The PH3 uses the Seekins quick-change barrel system with open-source headspace and tenon specs, so barrel swaps can be done at home with basic tools instead of a gunsmith visit. The bolt also disassembles without tools, which makes caliber changes and deep cleaning simple.
It is. The fluted 416R stainless barrel comes threaded 5/8×24 at the muzzle, which is the standard pattern for most .30 caliber suppressors and muzzle brakes. Just thread on your can or brake and go.
No bases needed. The receiver has an integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail machined right in, complete with a built-in bubble level to help you mount your scope straight. All you need are rings and glass, and the 20 MOA cant gives you extra elevation for stretching the .308 out at distance.
The three-lug design shortens the bolt lift to 60 degrees instead of the usual 90, so cycling is quicker and your hand clears low-mounted scope eyepieces more easily.
