This version (model AC857) has a .338 caliber bore and 5/8×24 threads, a common pairing on .338 Lapua and similar big-bore precision rifles. Construction is steel with a black finish that shrugs off carbon and weather, and at about 2.4 inches long it doesn't add much bulk to the end of your barrel.
SilencerCo includes a shim set and Rocksett in the package, so you can time the ports correctly and lock the brake down without a trip to the gunsmith. Take your time getting the timing right, torque it down, and it'll stay put through plenty of range sessions.

Not much. The package includes a shim set for timing the ports and Rocksett for locking it down, so most folks can handle installation at home with a wrench and a barrel vise or action block. Use the shims to get the ports oriented correctly before final torque and you're set.
