The FN SCAR does plenty right, but the one thing it skips is a decent rear sling attachment. Kinetic Development Group fixed that with the Rear QD Point. It gives you a proper quick-detach socket at the back of the rifle, sitting right where it should be for running a single point sling or anchoring the rear leg of a two point setup. It hugs the lower HK-style attachment loop and keeps a low profile, so it blends into the receiver instead of sticking out and snagging on gear.

Before this part, most SCAR owners were stuck improvising with the factory loop or hunting for adapters that never quite fit. The Kinetic Rear QD Point drops a true QD socket exactly where a rear sling anchor belongs. It works with most industry-standard push-button QD swivels, so whatever sling you already run should click right in. The design is rotation limited too, which means your sling stays oriented the way you set it instead of spinning and tangling every time you sling and unsling.

Building Quality on the KDG Rear QD Point

This one is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a non-reflective black Type III hardcoat anodizing. It is solid, lightweight, and made in the USA. The finish holds up to real handling and matches the SCAR's factory look so nothing looks bolted on. It fits all 5.56 and 7.62 SCAR models, including the 16S, 17S, 20S, and 15P.

Getting the SCAR Rear QD Point On Your Rifle

Installation is about as painless as it gets. The mount attaches in minutes with no real disassembly of the rifle, and it can go on either the left or right side depending on how you carry. A tip worth following: hand tighten the screws first, then give them another quarter to half turn to make sure everything is locked down.
