Why the SBA4 Feels Different From the Lighter Braces

The big draw here is rigidity. Grew out of the SBM4 design, the SBA4 uses a reinforced, beefed-up body that gives it a more substantial, sturdy feel compared to the minimalist braces in the lineup. It's wider and a touch heavier at around 10 ounces, but that extra material is where the stability comes from. If you've handled an SBA3 and wished it had more meat to it, the SBA4 is the answer. The wider profile also gives you a fuller contact area against your arm or shoulder.

Dialing In Your SBA4 Setup

The five positions run from roughly 7.5 inches out to 10.25 inches, with stops at 8.25, 8.8, and 9.5 along the way. The cavity depth is 6.75 inches and the max width comes in at 2.25 inches. Adjustment works just like a standard carbine setup, so anyone who's run an AR before will feel right at home. The included one-inch nylon strap lets you cinch the brace snug for a consistent, secure fit every time you pick the gun up.
