The headline feature is the 20-inch Proof Research carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel with a 1:10 twist. You get the stiffness and accuracy of a heavier contour without lugging the weight up a ridge, and the whole rifle comes in around 7.4 pounds bare. The muzzle wears an Omniport brake on 5/8×24 threads, so swapping to a suppressor takes about a minute. In .308 Win, that combination makes for a compact, quick-handling package that still reaches out with authority on deer, hogs, and black bear.
The Grayboe Phoenix 2 stock is finished in earth-tone camo with black webbing and gives you adjustable comb height and length of pull, so you can get proper eye alignment behind your scope instead of craning your neck. There is an M-LOK rail on the forend for a bipod and flush QD cups for sling attachment. Feeding comes from an included 3-round AICS-style detachable magazine sitting in a low-profile, one-piece magazine frame, and the receiver ships with a 20 MOA one-piece scope rail already installed.

The rifle uses AICS-pattern magazines and includes one 3-round detachable mag from the factory. Since it runs a one-piece AICS-style magazine frame, you can pick up higher capacity AICS short action mags from Magpul, MDT, and others if you want more rounds on hand for range days.
The Grayboe Phoenix 2 stock offers both adjustable comb height and length of pull, so you can set up proper cheek weld behind a scope and fit the rifle to your build or layered hunting clothing. The forend also has an M-LOK rail for a bipod plus flush QD cups for a sling.
