If you've ever tried to wring real distance out of a .22 Mag or .17 HMR and run out of elevation in your scope turret, this EGW rail is the fix. It's a one-piece Picatinny base cut specifically for the Savage 93 and newer Mark II rifles that use the 1-5/8" (1.625") ejection port, and it carries 20 MOA of built-in cant to give you more usable "up" travel when you're stretching the legs on your rimfire.
EGW machines this base from domestic 6061 T6 extruded aluminum and finishes it in a matte black anodize, so it holds up to handling and weather without drawing attention in the field. The whole thing weighs right around 2 ounces and measures 5.882" in overall length with a 3.345" center spread, keeping it light and low-profile over the receiver. Because it's a single-piece bridge rather than the two-piece bases a lot of these rifles ship with, you get dead-on ring alignment and a more rigid platform that helps your optic hold zero.
This rail is cut for the 1-5/8" ejection port rifles, which covers the Savage 93, 93R17, the F, G, and FV variants, the Stevens 310, and the newer Mark II models with that longer port. Installation is straightforward. It ships with #6-48 x 1/4" screws and a T-10 bit, and EGW recommends torquing the screws to around 20 in-lbs with a dab of thread locker for a lasting hold.
The 20 MOA version angles your scope slightly downward, which banks extra elevation in your turret for longer shots. It's the version to grab if you're doing more long-range plinking or ringing steel out past a couple hundred yards rather than keeping things close. It accepts standard Picatinny or Weaver rings, so you've got plenty of options when it comes time to pick out mounts for your glass.
It's designed for rifles with the 1-5/8" (1.625") ejection port, which includes the Savage 93, 93R17 in F, G, and FV trim, the Stevens 310, and newer Mark II rifles with that longer port.
