Savage wrapped this one in a Flat Dark Gray Trophy stock with user-adjustable length of pull, so the rifle fits you instead of the other way around. Yes, the 20 inch straight-fluted barrel comes with a threaded muzzle from the factory. That means you can add a suppressor or muzzle brake without any gunsmithing. A thread protector keeps things clean when you are running the bare muzzle.
The .400 Legend is known for delivering big-bore performance with noticeably less kick than cartridges like the .450 Bushmaster. Add in the LimbSaver recoil pad on the Trailblazer's stock and it is a comfortable rifle to shoot, even for newer hunters or extended range sessions. Most people find it very manageable off the bench and barely notice it in the field.
