The natural brown wood laminate stock is more than eye candy. The vented forend helps the heavy barrel shed heat, the Monte Carlo comb sets your eye up nicely behind a scope, and the thumbhole grip locks your firing hand into a repeatable, relaxed position shot after shot. Laminate also shrugs off weather better than solid walnut, so it stays put when the humidity swings. Sling swivel studs come standard for field carry.

Yes, this is a dedicated left-hand model, not a right-handed action in a neutral stock. The bolt handle sits on the left side so southpaws can cycle the action without breaking their grip or reaching over the receiver. The thumbhole stock is shaped to work naturally from the left shoulder as well.
