Savage took a hard look at what precision rifle folks bolt onto their guns after purchase and built most of it into the 110 Core Tactical from the start. The forend has an integral ARCA rail for tripods and bipods plus M-LOK panels for whatever else you want to hang on it, and the receiver wears a one-piece 20 MOA rail so you can mount a serious scope and still have elevation left for stretching the 6.5 PRC way out there. The barreled action gets a Platinum Cerakote finish that shrugs off weather, set against a Coyote Tan stock with a black jeweled bolt body that looks sharp at the bench.
The AccuStock with AccuFit V2 lets you dial in length of pull and comb height for a repeatable cheek weld, and interchangeable grip modules mean you can tune the wrist angle to your hand. Savage also included a LimbSaver recoil pad that takes real bite out of recoil, which matters when you are running magnum-class 6.5 PRC loads through long practice sessions. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger rounds things out, letting you set a crisp, light pull without a trip to a gunsmith.
The 24 inch medium contour carbon steel barrel wears straight fluting to cut weight and help with heat, and the 1:8 twist stabilizes the long, high-BC bullets that make the 6.5 PRC such a flat-shooting, wind-cheating cartridge. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, so adding a brake or suppressor is a two-minute job. Feeding comes from a detachable 7-round AICS pattern magazine, and a threaded bolt handle with tactical knob makes fast, positive cycling easy from any position.

Yes. The 24 inch barrel comes threaded 5/8×24, which is the standard pitch for most 30 caliber and 6.5mm suppressors and muzzle brakes. Just spin off the thread protector and you are ready to mount your can or brake.
It feeds from AICS-pattern detachable box magazines and ships with a 7-round mag in 6.5 PRC. The AICS footprint is one of the most common in the precision rifle world, so spare and higher-capacity magazines are easy to find from brands like Magpul and MDT.
That is one of the big selling points here. The AccuFit V2 system lets you adjust both length of pull and comb height for a consistent cheek weld behind your scope, and the interchangeable grip modules let you change the grip feel too. Combined with the adjustable AccuTrigger, you can tailor the whole rifle without buying aftermarket parts.
It is a great one. The 6.5 PRC pushes high-BC 6.5mm bullets noticeably faster than the 6.5 Creedmoor, which means flatter trajectories, less wind drift, and more retained energy at distance. The 1:8 twist on this barrel handles the heavy match and hunting bullets the cartridge was designed around, making it a solid pick for steel past 1,000 yards or open-country big game.
