The Secure Action is one of the more misunderstood systems in the budget 9mm market. The internal hammer is fully shrouded inside the slide, so the gun looks and handles like a striker-fired pistol from the outside. What you get on the inside, though, is a hammer-fired mechanism that delivers a strong ignition force and a noticeably easier slide rack compared to most striker-fired designs of similar size. The trigger is pre-cocked by the slide cycle, giving you a pull that feels short and crisp with a clean break and tactile reset.
