The Ruger RXM is what happens when Ruger and Magpul put their heads together on a polymer-frame striker-fired 9mm. The heart of it is a removable, serialized stainless steel Fire Control Insert that drops into a Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip. That means the serialized part lives in the chassis, not the grip, so you can swap grip modules down the road as Ruger and Magpul roll out new options. It's a smart take on modularity that gives this pistol a long runway for customization.

This particular model (19436) ships with a 4.50" precision-rifled alloy steel barrel in a black FNC nitride finish, threaded 1/2"-28 with a factory thread protector installed. If you run a suppressor or a compensator, Ruger even tossed in a heavier 18 lb guide rod and recoil spring assembly so you can tune the gun to your ammo and can. The slide carries a matching FNC nitride finish, front cocking serrations, and a direct-mount optic cut that accepts RMR, DeltaPoint Pro, and RMSc footprints. Co-witness-height steel sights with a tritium front dot give you a usable sight picture with or without a red dot mounted.

A big part of the appeal here is Gen 3 compatibility. Most major components are designed to work with off-the-shelf Gen 3-style parts, holsters, and accessories, and it runs Glock 19-pattern double-stack magazines.
