The RS Regulate AKMR is the piece that finally gets a modern micro red dot riding low and clean on an AK. It's built as the optic-specific upper for the AK-300 Modular Side Mount System, machined from lightweight aluminum and cut for the Trijicon RMR footprint. Bolt an RMR-pattern optic to it and the sight sits down close to the dust cover, giving you a slim profile and quick, natural target acquisition instead of a red dot perched way up high.
This is an upper mount only, so it needs an RS Regulate lower to do its job. The lower clamps directly to your rifle's factory side rail and stays put, while the AKMR snaps onto it and holds the optic. That two-piece setup is the whole point of the AK-300 system. Pick the lower that matches your side rail (something like the AK-303M full-length lower is a popular general-purpose choice for standard AKM-pattern rails), lock it down once, and you can swap uppers down the road without ever disturbing your rifle's rail interface.
The AKMR is cut for the RMR footprint, so it covers a wide range of popular micro red dots. Trijicon RMR and RMR Type 2, the Trijicon SRO, the Holosun 507 series, and other reflex sights sharing that same base all drop right on. If you've already got an RMR-pattern dot in your kit, this mount lets you run it on the AK without hunting down a proprietary solution.

No, the AKMR is the upper optic mount only. It has to be paired with a separate RS Regulate AK-300 lower that clamps to your rifle's side rail. Once you have the correct lower for your platform, the AKMR attaches to it and holds your optic.
It's machined for the Trijicon RMR footprint, so it accepts the RMR and RMR Type 2, the Trijicon SRO, the Holosun 507 series, and other red dots that share that same base pattern. If your dot uses an RMR footprint, it should mount up cleanly.
The lower is chosen based on your rifle's side rail rather than the optic. For standard AKM-pattern rails found on many Russian, Bulgarian, and similar rifles, a general-purpose lower like the AK-303M full-length is a common pick. Match the lower to your rail, then run the AKMR on top for your RMR-pattern dot.
