The 18.5 inch barrel gives .45 Colt loads a real velocity bump over a handgun while keeping the whole package at a handy 35.5 inches overall. The double action/single action trigger lets you cock the hammer for a deliberate shot or run it double action when speed matters more than precision. A transfer bar safety keeps the hammer off a live round until you press the trigger, and the yoke-mounted cylinder swings out for loading just like the revolver it grew up from.
This version pairs a black graphite Cerakote finish on the metalwork with a Brazilian hardwood Monte Carlo stock and rubber buttpad, a nice step up in looks from the usual synthetic furniture. The raised comb puts your eye right in line with the red fiber optic front sight, which stands out well in low light and timber shadow.
