Rock River Arms has been building AR platform guns since the early 90s, and the RRAGE line is their way of getting that same build quality into a no-nonsense, ready-to-run package. This 10.5 inch pistol version takes everything people like about the RRAGE and shrinks it down into something that handles fast, stores easy, and still runs the 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem loads you already have on the shelf.
The heart of the setup is a 10.5 inch chrome moly barrel with a 1:9 twist, capped with an A2 flash hider on standard 1/2-28 threads, so swapping muzzle devices down the road is simple. The forged LAR-15M lower pairs with an extruded aluminum A4 upper featuring a port door, and a low-profile gas block tucks neatly under the 7.25 inch free-float aluminum handguard. That handguard is M-LOK compatible, so lights, hand stops, and sling mounts bolt on wherever you want them. Up top, a full-length rail gives you plenty of real estate for a red dot, magnifier, or folding sights, since the pistol ships without irons and is meant to wear whatever optic suits you.
The included SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace is one of the most popular units out there for good reason. It adjusts through five positions, so the whole package runs about 28 inches extended and just over 26 inches collapsed. At 5.7 pounds, this thing is genuinely handy, whether it's riding in a truck bag, working a home defense role, or just making range days more fun. The single-stage trigger and A2 grip keep the controls familiar for anyone who has spent time behind an AR.
Rock River built its reputation supplying rifles to folks who depend on them, and that pedigree shows here. You get a compact 5.56 pistol from a respected American maker, one 30-round magazine in the box, and a platform that accepts standard AR parts and accessories. Add an optic and go shoot.
No, it ships without iron sights. The full-length top rail and railed gas block give you plenty of room to mount a red dot, low-power variable optic, or a set of flip-up sights. Most buyers pair this one with a red dot for fast handling at closer distances.
It comes from the factory with the SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable stabilizing brace, one of the most widely used braces on the market. It adjusts to multiple positions on the buffer tube, so you can dial in the fit that works for you. With the brace collapsed, the whole pistol measures about 26.25 inches.
Yes. The RRAGE pistol has a 5.56 NATO chamber, which safely handles both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. The 1:9 twist barrel does well with a wide range of common bullet weights, especially the 55 and 62 grain loads that are easiest to find.
They will. The RRAGE is built on Rock River's LAR-15M platform, which accepts standard AR pattern magazines, grips, triggers, and accessories. The 1/2-28 threaded muzzle and M-LOK handguard also make it easy to add your favorite muzzle device, light, or sling setup.
