The Rival Arms Precision Slide A1 gives your Glock 17 Gen4 a fresh set of bones. It starts life as a 17-4PH stainless steel billet and gets CNC machined into a slide that is dead-on dimensionally, then treated with a Quench-Polish-Quench (QPQ) case hardening process that leaves a satin black finish built to handle corrosion and everyday abuse. The recessed pocket is cut for Docter and Noblex footprint optics, so if you have been eyeing a red dot for faster target acquisition, this slide is ready to accept it right out of the box.
The details are where this slide earns its keep. You get aggressive front and rear serrations that make press checks and racking the slide easy even with gloves or wet hands. Three window cuts along the top lighten the reciprocating mass and open up airflow around the barrel, which helps with cooling during longer range sessions and gives the whole setup a purposeful, aftermarket look. You will want a cover plate to seal the optic pocket.

The pocket is machined for the Docter/Noblex footprint, which also covers a number of RMR-style and similar mini red dots that share that mounting pattern. Double check your specific optic's footprint against the Docter/Noblex standard before ordering to confirm a direct fit. If you plan to run irons only, grab a cover plate to seal the pocket.
