Description
Most lower parts kits give you a bag of mil-spec pins and springs and call it a day. The Rise Armament Premium Lower Parts Kit takes a different route by bundling all the essential small hardware you need to finish an AR-15 lower with a handful of upgraded Rise-designed controls. The result is a build that feels dialed in from the first range trip instead of one you plan to tweak later. Note that this kit skips the trigger group and pistol grip, so you can pair it with whichever fire control setup you already have in mind.
What Sets the Rise Premium LPK Apart
The headliner is the Rise Ambidextrous Safety Selector. It runs a 69-degree throw that splits the difference between a snappy 45 and a standard 90, giving you quicker transitions while still lining up cleanly with the markings on your receiver. The detent and spring are self-contained inside the selector, so you won't be crawling around the floor hunting for launched parts during install, and the long and short paddles are interchangeable and locked in with a detent rather than screws so they won't walk loose. Machined from 316 stainless with a black nitride finish, it's a genuine upgrade over anything that comes in a bargain kit.
Upgraded Controls in the Rise Armament Kit
Beyond the safety, you get an oversized magazine release button with added texture for surer presses, plus an enhanced bolt catch that's larger and textured for easier lock-back and release during reloads. The takedown and pivot pins feature concave faces, beveled edges, and a tool-assist cavity to make breaking the rifle open less of a fight. The swing-open trigger guard is cut from aircraft-grade aluminum, which is a nice touch over the stamped steel guards you usually see.
Everything is engineered and made in America, and the kit rounds out with the full complement of springs, detents, plungers, roll pins, and buffer retention hardware needed to complete the lower. If you're building an AR-15 and want your controls handled without piecing them together one part at a time, this is a clean way to do it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Rise Armament Premium Lower Parts Kit include a trigger?
No, this kit does not include a fire control group or trigger assembly. It focuses on the controls and retention hardware needed to finish a lower, so you'll pair it with whatever trigger you prefer. The same goes for the pistol grip, which is not part of the kit.
What makes this different from a standard mil-spec lower parts kit?
The big difference is the upgraded Rise-designed controls. Instead of basic mil-spec parts, you get an ambidextrous safety selector with a 69-degree throw, an oversized textured mag release, an enhanced bolt catch, a swing-open aluminum trigger guard, and enhanced takedown and pivot pins. You still get all the essential springs and detents to complete the build.
Will the Rise Premium kit fit any AR-15 lower receiver?
It's designed for the standard AR-15 platform and mil-spec receivers. The Rise ambi safety is also compatible with AR-10 and AR-9 builds, though the rest of the small parts are cut for the AR-15. If your lower follows mil-spec dimensions, these parts drop right in.
Is the ambidextrous safety hard to install?
It's one of the easier ambi safeties to work with because the detent and spring are self-contained inside the selector, so there are no loose parts to launch across the room. The long and short paddles swap easily and lock in with a detent rather than screws. Depending on your trigger, you may or may not need to drop it out to seat the selector.
