Pistol-caliber carbines are hard on triggers. That blowback bolt slams back and forth with way more force than a standard AR-15, and a lot of triggers just aren't built for the abuse. The Rise Armament Rave PCC is. It takes the guts of Rise's popular Rave 140 and pairs them with a heavier-duty hammer engineered to shrug off the intense hammering that comes with an AR9 setup, so you get the same great feel without the reliability worries.
This is a single-stage, drop-in cassette design that runs a crisp 3.5-pound pull. The break is clean and predictable, and Rise's NoWay take-up means there's essentially no slack before the sear releases, so the trigger starts working the moment you start pulling. The Quik-Klik reset gives you a short, positive reset you can both feel and hear, which is exactly what you want when you're stacking fast follow-up shots on a PCC. This is the curved blade version in a red anodized finish, giving you a comfortable blade that sits a little farther back for solid control.
The internals are S7 tool steel with heavy-hit hardening and a black nitride finish for strength and corrosion resistance. Everything lives inside a housing precision-machined from a solid block of 6061 aluminum, which holds up far better over a high round count than the stamped-tin cages you'll find on cheaper triggers. It's designed for AR9 lowers with mil-spec inner dimensions and works across common PCC calibers including 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP.
Installation is about as painless as it gets. The whole unit drops into your lower as a self-contained cassette with no set screws to fuss with, and Rise includes anti-walk pins to keep everything locked in place. If you've built a 9mm carbine and want to ditch the gritty factory trigger, this is one of the easiest upgrades you can make to sharpen up how the whole gun shoots.
The Rave PCC shares the same feel, 3.5-pound pull, and drop-in design as the Rave 140, but it uses a heavier-duty hammer built to withstand the harder impact of a PCC's blowback action. Standard AR-15 triggers aren't designed for that extra pounding, which can lead to reliability issues over time. If you're running a 9mm or other pistol-caliber carbine, the PCC version is the one you want.

It's rated for common PCC calibers including 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. If you're running a lower with non-standard internal spacing, it's worth double-checking your dimensions first.
