The Aimtech ASM120 is a one-piece saddle mount built to turn your Remington 1100 or 11-87 20 gauge into a slug-ready, optic-topped workhorse. It's machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and wears a satin black hard-coat anodized finish, so it holds up to recoil and weather without that glossy shine that spooks game in the woods. Unlike cheaper single-sided plate mounts, this one uses an inverted vee-way design that cradles the receiver and centers the optic right over the bore. That symmetry matters when you're trying to hold zero shot after shot. It peaks up just high enough that your factory bead sight stays usable underneath, which is a nice touch if you want to switch between slugs and birdshot without pulling the optic.
The top of the mount is a standard dovetail rail that accepts most Weaver-style rings, and in most cases cross-slot and Picatinny bases will clamp down just fine too. That opens the door to a traditional scope for slug hunting or a red dot sight for fast, close-range work in thick cover. Keep in mind rings are not included, so you'll want to grab a set matched to your optic's tube or footprint.
