The S-Pro MG is Recover Tactical's top-shelf take on the pistol conversion kit, and this version is built specifically around the Walther PDP. Your pistol drops into a metal-framed chassis with a spring-loaded stabilizer out back, and installation is completely tool-free with zero modifications to the gun itself. That matters if you like keeping your PDP stock and want the option to pull it out of the chassis and carry it normally whenever you feel like it.
The MG designation is where this kit earns its keep over the basic model. You get the metal frame, a metal upper M-LOK rail, an M-LOK compatible front shroud for lights and hand stops, a forward mag pouch with a push-button release for a quick spare reload, and an adjustable cheek riser so you can get a proper cheek weld behind your optic. The kit ships pre-assembled with the high-profile upper rail, which plays nicely with slide-mounted red dots, and the front end has clearance for suppressors and compensators. At roughly 500 grams for the whole unit, it adds useful stability without turning your PDP into a boat anchor.
Fit coverage across the PDP line is broad, including the Compact 4 and 5 inch, Full Size 4, 4.5 and 5 inch, plus Pro SD and Pro-X variants. And since the S-Pro platform is modular, the same chassis can be adapted to other compatible pistols like select Glock and Canik models down the road with a simple adapter swap, sold separately. That is a smart bit of future-proofing if your safe tends to grow.
Every kit ships in the brace configuration, and the stabilizer converts to a buttstock by removing the included brace attachment. Between the added contact points, the cheek riser, and all that M-LOK space, follow-up shots tighten up noticeably compared to shooting the pistol on its own. For range days, training, or home setup duty, it is a genuinely well-thought-out piece of gear.

Yes. The MG kit ships pre-assembled with the high-profile upper rail, which is designed to clear slide-mounted optics like a Holosun. The upper rail itself is a 1913 Picatinny pattern, so you also have the option of mounting an optic directly to the chassis instead.
You can. The S-Pro is a modular platform, and moving it to another compatible pistol only takes an adapter swap. Recover Tactical sells the adapters separately for supported Glock, Canik, and other Walther PDP models, so one chassis can serve multiple guns over time.
