Description

Most IWB holsters wrap the entire slide in Kydex, and that extra material is exactly what makes a slim pistol like the Glock 42 or 43 start feeling like a brick on your belt. Raven Concealment Systems took the opposite approach with the VanGuard 2. It covers only the trigger guard, which is the part that matters for safe carry, and leaves the rest of the pistol alone. The result is a carry setup that adds no width to the gun and hides under a t-shirt better than just about anything else out there.

How the VanGuard 2 Earns Its Keep

The genius of this design is its flexibility. Pop the shell over the trigger guard by itself and you have a storage and transport cover that blocks anything from reaching the trigger while still letting you cycle the slide and drop the magazine for safe handling. Add the included 1.5 inch overhook and it becomes a stable, tuckable IWB holster with adjustable ride height and cant, so you can dial in exactly how the pistol sits on your beltline. Built for the Slimline Glocks

This version is molded for the Glock 42 and 43, and the shell also fits the longer 43X and 48 frames since they share the same trigger guard footprint. Optics on the slide are a non-issue since nothing covers the top of the pistol.
