The Radians Lowset earmuff is built around one simple idea: hearing protection that stays out of your way. The low-profile earcups sit close to your head so they don't bump your gun stock when you settle into a shot, which is the kind of detail you appreciate after a long session at the bench. With a 21 dB Noise Reduction Rating, it handles range days, workshop noise, and yard work with equal ease.
Comfort is where this muff earns its keep. The earcups use foam-filled cushioned padding, and the headband spreads tension evenly instead of clamping down on one spot. That padded headband also uses a moisture-wicking Coolmax design that pulls sweat away and keeps things cool when the temperature climbs. The frame runs light, right around half a pound, so you can wear it through a full afternoon without your neck reminding you it's there.
The adjustable headband with side wire guides lets you dial in the fit, and the Lowset is shaped with a smaller footprint that suits women and youth well while still fitting plenty of adults. The earcups are made from ABS, and the whole thing carries a CSA Z94.2 Class B rating on top of its NRR. It's a passive muff, so there's no batteries to fuss with and nothing to switch on.
When you're done, the arms fold in for a compact package that tucks easily into a range bag or a tool drawer. Folding the cups in also keeps grit and dust out of the padding, so they're clean and ready the next time you reach for them. The Aqua and charcoal color combo makes them easy to spot in a bag full of gear, too. For anyone who wants dependable, no-nonsense ear protection that doesn't fight their setup, the Lowset is a smart grab.
The Lowset carries a Noise Reduction Rating of 21 dB and also meets the CSA Z94.2 Class B standard. That level of protection covers most range shooting, workshop work, and general outdoor use. It's a passive muff, so the protection is always on with no batteries or switches involved.
Yes. The foam-filled cushioned earcups and evenly tensioned headband are designed to seal comfortably even while you're wearing protective eyewear. The low-profile shape helps the cups sit close without pushing your glasses out of place.
The adjustable headband with side wire guides makes this a solid pick for women and youth, and it still fits many adults. The compact, low-profile design keeps the cups from interfering with your cheek weld on a rifle or shotgun.
It does. The arms fold in for a compact package that drops easily into a range bag or a drawer. Folding the cups inward also keeps dust and debris out of the padding between uses.
